Vineyard maintenance and harvesting of the grapes in this selected steep site (red slate soil) are exclusively done by hand to ensure that the wine is of the highest quality possible.   All vineyard sites have a southern or southwestern exposure, because this is where the sun shines the longest.   The yield of the individual grapevine is strictly limited through bunch pruning late in summer. The remaining bunches can fully benefit from the sun and the strength of the grapevine.   The wine is carefully produced by a small wine estate with more than 500 years of viticultural tradition. The production of this special wine is limited to a maximum of 500 bottles per year.
